Summary
Rosemary Hancco Durán de Mendoza is Peruvian but has lived in Italy since 2016 with her family. Her husband is one of the founders of the Fraternidad Cultural Tarpuy di Milano, a group of young dancers who “do not forget their roots, with the goal of expressing their passion for dance” (reference: profilo Youtube). Since her arrival in Italy, Rosemary has joined Tarpuy Milano, in turn becoming one of the protagonists of this group that unites both Peruvian and second-generation youth. In the interview, she tells us about her migration journey but also, and more importantly, what it means to bring to Italy her passion, rooted in her from years of study and practice, for dance.
