"Andean festivals go to the sound of traditional genres such as Sanjuanitos, Huaynos, Cumbias, Italaques, Inti Raymis and many others. Responding to human needs for aggregation, celebration and escapism, raves and clubbing are placed in a parallel dimension where DJs are considered shamans of modern times. Western literature speaks of phenomena called neo-tribalism or techno-shamanism. Andean music is socially aggregative, solemn and repetitive in character, and I often find an analogy in the 'Rave' phenomena born in the West. On the basis of some common traits found between contemporary music, electronic music and Andean music, I carry out some experiments to encounter other sound potentials linked to the sounds of South America and the Italian context where I live"
