The LATILMA project expresses its solidarity with Boris Veliz, whose collective work, realised in Via Padova in Milan as part of the exhibition 'Fragments of Identity', was destroyed due to ignorance and lack of respect towards someone who cares about the community and takes care to include it in his creative process. "This work was not just mine. It was a collective work!!!" Veliz wrote on Facebook, later stating that "Art is a bridge between cultures, and to see the work destroyed is not only painful for me but for all those who value art as identity and creativity". We join Boris in expressing our sorrow for what happened and in wishing that, in the future, art can finally be appreciated and respected.
