Angela María Osorio Méndez was born in 1986 in Bogotá, Colombia. In 2005, she studied Architecture and Visual Arts at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. She then moved to Italy and obtained a double Italian-Colombian degree in Architecture at the Politecnico di Torino. In 2014, she began his PhD in Urban Studies at the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI), in L'Aquila (Italy). Her fields of research are urban renewal, culture and welfare, and urban migration. She carried territorial development projects through cultural and artistic initiatives, such as The School of Losing Time in London and Mirafiori in Millefogli in Turin. In 2016, she won the First Prize of the 11th edition of the National Literary Competition “Lingua Madre” with her short story Jet lag affettivo. Between 2021 and 2022 she collaborated on the project Quello che non si vede.
