Luisa Fernanda Guevara was born in Colombia in 1973 and has lived in Turin since 2005. With a degree in psychology, she attended an advanced course in Mindfulness and Psychology of Consciousness in Italy. Her interest in the world of women and in particular in the dynamics of migration and integration led her to follow a course in intercultural mediation and to design paths and workshops for migrants. In 2014, together with her husband, she recorded an album of Latin American music entitled Raices y alas. In 2015, she wrote a short story about roots, identity and migration, published by the National Literary Competition “Lingua Madre” and entitled Al otro lado del río. With her photograph Fascio di luce, she then won the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Special Prize in the following year's edition of the same competition. In 2017, she was a guest at the Salone Off event in Turin. In 2018, she taught the training course on psychological intervention from a transcultural perspective Migrando. At the conclusion of the Corso Quadriennale di Psicoterapia della Gestalt in Turin, she published her thesis Dalle radici ai frutti. Esperienze di alterità. She is one of the founders of the group Psicologi meticci, which offers psychological services in mother tongue.
